Hovercraft

In our science lesson this week we made Hovercarfts and discovered how they worked.

The Hovercraft was invented by an English man Christopher Cockrell in 1956.  Hovercrafts are used as car ferries, by military, for sport and recreation.

How  does it works?  It floats on a cushion of air that is forced under the craft.  This causes the craft to rise or lift.
