Pupils from Mrs Kelleher's 3rd and 4th class attended the Galway Science and Technology Festival in NUIG on Sunday 25th November. Brendan Smith, education officer at the Digital Enterprise Research
Institute (DERI) of NUI Galway had invited the pupils to attend and demonstrate how they have integrated SCRATCH programming language
into the Maths curriculum. Twenty four pupils from the class demonstrated their programming skills to hundreds of visitors throughout the day.
